Tony Award winning actress Daisy Eagan and her boyfriend, writer, Kurt Bloom, are pleased to announce the birth of their (completely unplanned, yet gleefully welcomed) first child, Monty Harrison Eagan-Bloom. Monty was born at 3:53 am on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Cedars Sinai Hospital is Los Angeles. Monty entered this world at 7 pounds 14 ounces, 20 and 1/2 inches long. Both mother and baby are happy and healthy. Eagan said, 'Monty is perfect and amazing. His interests include eating, sleeping, pooping and watching Mad Men. And, as our neighbors are quickly learning, he is a coloratura.'

Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz's beloved coming-of-age musical comedy Pippin opens tonight, April 25, 2013, at Broadway's Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). This all-new production is directed by Diane Paulus featuring choreography by Chet Walker in the style of Bob Fosse and circus creation by Gypsy Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main (also known as 7 Fingers). Bette Midler stars in Tony Award winner John Logan's new play, I'll Eat You Last: A Chat With Sue Mengers, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, which opens tonight at the Booth Theatre. Appearing on Broadway for the first time in 30 years, Tony and Grammy Award-winning superstar Bette Midler plays the legendary Hollywood agent Sue Mengers (1932-2011) in the new, one-character play.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre will present the third annual "Night of A Thousand Judys" on Monday, June 17. The Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th Street in New York). "Night of A Thousand Judys" will honor the legendary singer and actress Judy Garland with special skits, tributes and songs from her storied career. There will be a pre-show VIP reception at 6:30 PM and the show at 8:00 PM. The show is written and hosted by Justin Sayre and Lance Horne serves as Music Director. The show will feature performances by Martha Wash ("It's Raining Men"), Madeleine Peyroux (platinum-selling vocalist), Christiane Noll (Tony Award nominee for Ragtime), Karen Mason (Wonderland, Hairspray), Molly Pope (Village Voice "Best of NYC 2011") and Danielle Grabianowski (Sleep No More) in addition to other names to be announced.
