Due to popular demand, Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co.'s hit production of SUPERIOR DONUTS will add three final weeks of performances - extending through December 31, 2012 at The Royal George Cabaret Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted St. in Chicago. Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts and directed by Matt Miller, the critically acclaimed remount features nearly all of the original Mary-Arrchie cast members. A special New Year's Eve performance on Monday, December 31 at 8 pm will mark the show's final performance at The Royal George, where the remount enjoyed a two-month run, including two extensions.

Red Sea Media has assembled a robust slate in the last few months, including two new projects that the sales company has acquired worldwide sales rights for. Red Sea will be introducing the projects at the upcoming AFM, which feature A-listers and rising stars such as Jesse Eisenberg, Michael McKean, Jason Ritter, and Jess Weixler. Today, October 1, The Pearl Theatre Company celebrates the opening of The Pearl Theatre (555 West 42nd Street), its first permanent home, with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a benefit reading of James Thurber's A Thurber Carnival, arranged and directed by Michael McKean, who will also perform. The reading's all-star cast also includes Jason Butler Harner, Jackie Hoffman, Elizabeth Marvel, Dakin Matthews, Maryann Plunkett, Jay O. Sanders, and Annette O'Toole.

Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton added his voice to the 2012 Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 14, singing an original song called 'A Perez Hilton Christmas,' with music by Lynn Pinto & Jason Michael Webb, and lyrics by George Howe & Frances Limoncelli. Perez Hilton is making his New York stage debut in the comical off-Broadway revue "NEWSical the Musical."
