The Kentucky Tourism Council (KTC) has chosen Actors Theatre of Louisville's Humana Festival of New American Plays as one of the Top 10 Spring Festivals and Events alongside other popular events like the Kentucky Derby Festival and Abbey Road on the River.

Youngblood, Ensemble Studio Theatre's collective of emerging playwrights under 30 (RJ Tolan/Graeme Gillis, Artistic Directors), will celebrate its fifteenth season this year with Asking For Trouble, the biggest play festival in their history. Youngblood has invited their alumni - 41 playwrights, 35 directors and 120 actors - to participate in the mammoth 5-day event, including many EST members alongside emerging talents like Johnny Pruitt ('Chappelle's Show'), Jessica Andres ('Gossip Girl'), Matt Lauria and Marguerite Stimpson (both of 'Lipstick Jungle').

Second Generation, the nation's preeminent Asian American theater company devoted to developing the next generation of APA theater artists, presents SIX, a series of world premiere one-act plays by Asian American playwrights.

Youngblood (will present Thicker Than Water 2008, the ninth collection of new plays by members of Youngblood. Performances begin on Sunday February 3rd, and continue through Saturday, March 1st at E.S.T. (549 West 52nd Street). This year's Youngblood series presents one-act plays and musicals all having their world premiere.

Playwrights Lucy Alibar, Jesse Cameron Alick, Robert Askins and Steven Levenson are the newest members of Youngblood, Ensemble Studio Theatre's collective of emerging professional playwrights.

Youngblood and Ensemble Studio Theatre will present Neglect by Sharyn Rothstein and Thicker than Water 2007, the eighth collection of new plays by members of Youngblood, E.S.T.'s company of emerging professional playwrights under the age of 30.

Twelve new plays will be featured in the 2006 edition of Plays and Playwrights, which will be released on February 1st

The HERE Arts Center's American Living Room Festival will be presented from July 20th to August 31st
