TNT To End THE LAST SHIP After Season 5

According to The Hollywood Reporter, TNT is set to end THE LAST SHIP after its upcoming fifth season. The series was renewed for a fourth and fifth season back in 2016. The fourth season debuted this past fall. Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy), Bridget Regan (Agent Carter) and Adam Baldwin (Firefly, Chuck) star in this action-packed series chronicling the aftermath of a global catastrophe that nearly decimates the world's population. A QUIET PLACE Sequel Announced At CinemaCon

According to Entertainment Weekly, Paramount Pictures is returning to A Quiet Place. Chairman Jim Gianopulos announced Wednesday at CinemaCon that the studio is already developing a sequel to John Krasinski's breakout horror hit.

Award-Winning Director Anthony Hemingway Set for USA/Syfy's THE PURGE

Universal Cable Productions (UCP) and Blumhouse Television today announced that Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) award-winner Anthony Hemingway (UNSOLVED: THE MURDERS OF TUPAC AND THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G.) is set to direct the premiere episode of USA/SYFY's upcoming series THE PURGE based on the hit film franchise. From Blumhouse Television and Universal Cable Productions, THE PURGE, which will air on USA and SYFY, and the series was created, and will be executive produced by the film franchise creator James DeMonaco, and led by Jason Blum, the entire team behind the blockbusters are on board to executive produce: Michael Bay with Brad Fuller and Andrew Form under the Platinum Dunes banner and Sebastien K. Lemercier. Thomas Kelly serves as executive producer/showrunner of the series.

Review Roundup: Critics Weigh In On PACIFIC RIM UPRISING

PACIFIC RIM UPRISING, the upcoming sequel of PACIFIC RIM from Legendary and Universal, stars John Boyega and hits theaters on March 23rd. Directed by Guillermo del Toro, the film is set in the near future with Earth at war with the Kaiju, monsters that emerged from an inter-dimensional portal at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. The original film earned $411 million at the global box office.

Live Action DORA THE EXPLORER To Release Summer 2019

According to Variety, the previously announced live action DORA THE EXPLORER film has officially set a release date. Paramount Pictures has announced that the movie will swing into theaters Aug. 2, 2019. The film has been in the works for a few years now, and it being produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. The three make up Platinum Dunes production company. ZOOLANDER 2 Tops Razzies Nominations; Full List

Nominations for the 2017 RAZZIES were announced today with ZOOLANDER 2 and BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE leading the pack. Winners will be announced on March 3rd, just one day before the Academy Awards.

The Netflix original series UMBRELLA ACADEMY is adding more members. Based on the popular, Eisner award-winning comics and graphic novels created and written by Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance), illustrated by Gabriel B , and published by Dark Horse Comics, the series is adding cast members Tom Hopper as Luther, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison, David Casta eda as Diego, Robert Sheehan as Klaus, and Aidan Gallagher as Number Five.
