THE ORACLE (THE RITE OF SPRING) Comes to Bass Concert Hall, 4/6

Meryl Tankard is one of Australia's iconic choreographers. She produces what's being described as 'affecting, compelling and absorbing dance productions that have been seen worldwide. Meryl's work ranges from the intricate and intimate to large-scale, site-specific commissions, which are transformative both to the space they reside in and to the audience. It is this diversity and creativity that has attracted international artistic acclaim and commercial success.'

Meryl Tankard's THE ORACLE Performs at NYU Skirball, Now thru 2/9

Australian choreographer Meryl Tankard returns to New York with one of her most gripping works to date. The Oracle is set to Stravinsky's seminal composition for the infamous 1913 ballet The Rite of Spring, which caused riots at its Paris premiere. The Oracleexplores the conflicting forces of nature and man, masculinity and femininity, violence and nurturing, strength and vulnerability. An intense solo for virtuosic performer Paul White, one of Australia's greatest dancers and incoming member of Pina Bausch's Tanztheater Wuppertal, The Oracle includes haunting visual and set designer by Regis Lansac. The U.S. premiere took place on February 5 at 7:30pm at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ, as part of a seven-city U.S. tour.

NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts Announces 2012-13 Season

In celebration of Tarzan's first anniversary on Thursday, May 10th, Phil Collins will join author Michael Lassell and stars Josh Strickland, Jenn Gambatese and Chester Gregory at Barnes & Noble for a special event beginning at 12:30pm.

'Tarzan' Stars to Appear at May 10 B&N Book Signing

In celebration of Tarzan's one-year anniversary, stars Josh Strickland, Jenn Gambatese and Chester Gregory will join author Michael Lassell at Barnes & Noble (Broadway and 66th Street) at 12:30pm on Thursday, May 10th, where Lassell will read from his recently released Tarzan: The Broadway Adventure.

MARY POPPINS star Ashley Brown and TARZAN star Josh Strickland will be featured on ABC's 'All My Children' on Tuesday, March 6th. 'All My Children' airs nationally on ABC (channel 7, locally).

Tarzan composer Phil Collins will be the guest host on Sirius Satellite Radio's Starlite Channel on Tuesday, August 8th at 5pm EST; Friday, August 11th at 12pm EST and Sunday, August 13th at 10pm EST
