THE ORACLE (THE RITE OF SPRING) Comes to Bass Concert Hall, 4/6
Meryl Tankard is one of Australia's iconic choreographers. She produces what's being described as "affecting, compelling and absorbing dance productions that have been seen worldwide. Meryl's work ranges from the intricate and intimate to large-scale, site-specific commissions, which are transformative both to the space they reside in and to the audience. It is this diversity and creativity that has attracted international artistic acclaim and commercial success."
The Oracle is brought to life by the astonishing talents of Paul White, one of Australia's most-acclaimed dancers. White's career as a performer and artistic collaborator has included working with some of the art form's most renowned choreographers and directors such as Meryl Tankard, Lloyd Newson (DV8 Physical Theatre), Tanja Liedtke, and Garry Stewart (Australian Dance Theatre). Paul has been recognized five times by the Australian Dance Awards and Helpmann Awards as a performer and choreographic collaborator.
