Mary Poppins star Ashley Brown and TARZAN® star Josh Strickland will be featured on ABC's "All My Children" on Tuesday, March 6th.  "All My Children" airs nationally on ABC (channel 7, locally).

Brown and Strickland will play themselves in the scenes that also features "All My Children" stars Sydney Penny and Melissa Claire Egan.  In story, the two Broadway stars are invited to Pine Valley to surprise Julia (Sydney Penny) and Annie's (Melissa Clair Egan) daughters to see special performances of "Mary Poppins" and "Tarzan."

On February 25th, Brown and Strickland took part in the 2007 "ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS" benefit event at Town Hall alongside ABC Daytime stars Jeff Branson, David Canary, Jeffrey Carlson, Ambyr Childers, Bobbie Eakes, Melissa Claire Egan, Colin Egglesfield, Susan Lucci, Cameron Mathison, Alicia Minshew, Sydney Penny, Eden Riegel, Chrishell Stause, Aiden Turner, Brent Weber, Walt Willey and Jacob Young of "All My Children"; Kristen Alderson, Kassie Depaiva, Renee Goldsberry, Catherine Hickland, John-Paul Lavoisier, Forbes March, Kamar De Los Reyes, Tika Sumpter and Tobias Truvillion of  "One Life to Live"; Scott Clifton, Anthony Geary, Kimberly McCullough and Jason Thompson of "General Hospital"; and "The View's" Joy Behar

Mary Poppins, a co-production by Disney and Cameron Mackintosh, opened at the New Amsterdam Theatre on November 16, 2006, and quickly proved to be a hit with audience members and critics alike.

ABOUT TARZAN®:

TARZAN®, Broadway's high-flying adventure, opened May 10, 2006 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street).  TARZAN® is presented by Disney Theatrical Productions (Thomas Schumacher, Producer).  Time Magazine hailed the show as "sensational" and The Financial Times said "TARZAN® is the only show of the season that places us joyously places us in a world of wonder."

The production stars Josh Strickland as Tarzan, Jenn Gambatese as Jane, Merle Dandridge as Kala, Shuler Hensley as Kerchak, Chester Gregory II as Terk, Timothy Jerome as Professor Porter and Donnie Keshawarz as Clayton.  Alex Rutherford and Dylan Riley Snyder alternate in the role of Young Tarzan.

Three-time Tony Award® winner Bob Crowley (Aida, Carousel, The History Boys), directs and designs scenery and costumes for TARZAN®.   Oscar® and seven-time GRAMMY® Award winner Phil Collins has written the music and lyrics, expanding his songs for Disney's film into a complete theatre score.   Tony Award®-winner David Henry Hwang (M. Butterfly) has written the book, based on Tarzan of the Apes, by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and the film, Tarzan®.   Choreography is by Meryl Tankard, with aerial design by Pichón Baldinu (De La Guarda).  Lighting design is by Tony Award®-winner Natasha Katz (Aida) and sound design is by John Shivers.   Other members of the creative team include Paul Bogaev (Music Producer/Vocal Arrangements) and Doug Besterman (Orchestrations).
