New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse is currently in rehearsal for Irving Berlin's White Christmas, directed by Marc Bruni, with choreography by Randy Skinner and musical direction by Steven Freeman. The cast features: James Clow (Bob Wallace), Tony Yazbeck (Phil Davis), Jill Paice (Betty Haynes), Meredith Patterson (Judy Haynes), Edward James Hyland (General Waverly) and Lorna Luft (Martha Watson). The show begins performances on Wednesday, November 16 and runs at the Millburn theater through Saturday, December 24. Opening night is scheduled for Sunday, November 20. Tony Award-winner Faith Prince, currently starring on Broadway as the evil Ursula in Disney's The Little Mermaid, has been added to the starry line-up for The Actor's Company Theatre (TACT) 'Sweet Sixteen' gala honoring legendary actress Angela Lansbury on Monday, May 11th at The Hudson Theatre (145 W. 44th Street). Ms. Prince will perform 'If He Walked Into My Life,' the eleven o'clock number from Jerry Herman's Broadway musical Mame. The celebratory evening kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent auction. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. TACT company member Simon Jones (who stars with Ms. Lansbury in Blithe Spirit) will serve as master of ceremonies and introduce the evening's entertainment set to commence at 8:30 p.m.
