City Theatre Company, Pittsburgh’s home for contemporary plays located on the South Side, is thrilled to announce the directors for its 2025/2026 season as well as changes to the artistic department structure.
City Theatre has announced the fourth show of its 2021/2022 subscription season, Paradise Blue by Dominique Morisseau, with original compositions by jazz artist Theron Brown. The production is directed by Kent Gash, who was recently named Artistic Director of The Acting Company, based in New York City.
Cygnet Theatre will continue its 10th Anniversary Season by presenting the San Diego Premiere of August Wilson's Gem of the Ocean. The first play, chronologically, in Wilson's epic Century Cycle, Gem of the Ocean is set to perform now through February 24th, 2013, at Cygnet's Old Town Theatre.
