Park Square to Open its 43rd Season with a Comedy, HENRY AND ALICE: INTO THE WILD

Park Square Theatre opens its 43rd season with the American premiere of Michele Riml's uproarious Henry and Alice: Into the Wild on the Andy Boss Thrust Stage. Following Park Square's 2014 hit Sexy Laundry, this new play revisits the raucous lovers as they face sudden uncertainty on the brink of retirement. Staged by Mary M. Finnerty, who helmed Riml's first installment, the comedy is a touching exploration of what happens when you can't always get what you want but find sometimes you get what you need.

Theatre Gargantua Celebrates 25th Anniversary with World Premiere

Toronto's acclaimed Theatre Gargantua (TG) proudly presents the world premiere of its newest production Reflector, conceived and directed by Jacquie P.A. Thomas, written by Michael Spence and developed with an award-winning cast and creative team. Reflector opens as the highlight of Theatre Gargantua's 25th Anniversary Season on Friday November 3 (with a preview on November 2) and runs to Saturday November 18 in the Mainspace at Theatre Passe Muraille. Tickets are on sale today, August 22. Reflector explores how a single photograph can blaze humanity into acts of courage, generosity and understanding, and why certain images stand out in a world of 2.5 billion cameras.

We are delighted to announce today the shortlist for the Total Theatre Awards 2017. Works by Torben Betts, Scott Organ and Lee Blessing Headline The Barrow Group's 2017-18 Season

The Barrow Group Theatre Company, recipient of the Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Awards, has announced its lineup for the 2017-2018 season with the New York premiere of Muswell Hill, a play by Torben Betts, followed by the world premiere of The Thing With Feathers, a new play by Scott Organ, the revival of A Walk in the Woods by Lee Blessing, and a special benefit performance of the award-winning solo play The Tricky Part by Martin Moran at The Barrow Group Mainstage Theatre (312 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor).

Cast Set for Tectonic Theater Project's UNCOMMON SENSE, A New Play About Living with Autism

Tectonic Theater Project has announced casting for the New York premiere of Uncommon Sense, a new play about living on the autism spectrum, which the Sheen Center for Thought & Culture presents for five weeks only, October 25 to November 26, at The Sheen Center's Loreto Theater (18 Bleecker Street, NYC). The work is written by Anushka Paris-Carter and Andy Paris and directed by Andy Paris under the artistic direction of Tectonic's founder, Moises Kaufman.
