Dixon Place's commission tiger tiger (on the nature of violence) written and directed by playwright Jessica Almasy, will have its world premiere today, November 6th at 7:30 PM.  The music is composed by Dan Veksler in collaboration with Ms. Almasy. tiger tiger (on the nature of violence) will play six performances only - November 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st at 7:30PM, at Dixon Place (161A Chrystie Street). Tickets are $18 for general admission, and $15 for seniors and students. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.dixonplace.org or by calling 866-811-4111.

Dr. Lynn Hunter, an established early childhood educator and the writer and producer of the acclaimed children's show THE DOOPLES IN THE LAND OF DOO - THE MUSICAL! announced that the show will return to the New York stage for a limited engagement at the renowned Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce St., NYC from December 16 - 20, 2015.

That one moment, which may have seemed interesting and thought-provoking at first, quickly becomes torturously mind-numbing. These tech rehearsals are where the work of designers, stage managers, actors, directors, and all manner of theater artists involved in a production comes together to create the play that audience members will experience just a few days later.
