Alexandra Theatre are new to the Perth theatre scene, and in the current climate, would have been forgiven for erring on the side of caution in their first production. Instead, they chose to begin with a bang, putting on Broadway classic The Producers- with a large cast and grand sets- for an audience delighted to be back at the theatre.

Sharon Gless (Christine Cagney), Tyne Daly (Mary Beth Lacey), and Martin Kove (Victor Isbecki), will come together to talk about their time on the beloved series, which became the quintessential show for, and about, working women.

Senator Brad Hoylman surprised the Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winner André De Shields with a Senate Proclamation on Thursday April 8th, 2021 proclaiming the day “André De Shields Appreciation Day”. The surprise proclamation was arranged by producer Tom D’Angora to honor the extensive charity work Mr. De Shields has done for the community this year.

Earlier this month Dayglow was announced to play in the upcoming season for the iconic Austin City Limits TV program. It was a big moment for the Texas-native and shows an artist poised for the next phase of what has already been an exciting career. He will join Brittany Howard, Leon Bridges, Jon Batiste and more. It will be his second TV performance of the year after he made his Late Night Debut on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to play his smash hit “Can I Call You Tonight”.
