Nederlander, Estefan Enterprises, Inc and Bernie Yuman have announced that Cuban-American Broadway actress Christie Prades will star as seven-time GRAMMY winning international superstar Gloria Estefan, and acclaimed stage and television actor Mauricio Martinez will play her 19-time Grammy-winning producer and husband Emilio Estefan, in the First National Tour of the Broadway musical On Your Feet!

Kansas City Repertory Theatre welcomes celebrated Latin American film, television, and music star Mauricio Martinez in the iconic role of Che in the musical Evita, directed by KC Rep Artistic Director Eric Rosen and starring Mariand Torres, playing the role of Eva Peron, who will be making her Broadway debut in the production of In Transit this fall.

Kansas City Repertory Theatre welcomes celebrated Latin American film, television, and music star Mauricio Martinez in the iconic role of Che in the musical Evita, directed by KC Rep Artistic Director Eric Rosen and starring Mariand Torres, playing the role of Eva Peron, who will be making her Broadway debut in the production of In Transit this fall. Evita runs through Oct. 2, at KC Rep's mainstage Spencer Theatre, located on the UMKC campus. Opening Night is this Friday, September 16, and BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Presented by The New York Musical Festival, Jorge de la Garza and German Cavazos, CHILDREN OF SALT is the first Official Selection of the New York Musical Festival from Mexico, CHILDREN OF SALT by Jaime Lozano and Lauren Epsenhart. The musical is directed by Jose Zayas, musical direction by Geraldine Anello with choreography Stephanie Klemons (Associate Choreographer: Hamilton). The musical features music by Jaime Lozano and book and lyrics by Lauren Epsenhart, with arrangements & orchestrations by Jesus Altamira and Jaime Lozano, musical direction by Geraldine Anello and musical supervision by Zach Dietz.
