A 9th season, new and bold, of the north's successful music series, from the conductor, composer and pianist Gil Shohat. For the first time the season will host the singer and artist David Broza along with his best songs, will unite Israeli theatre queens Leah Koenig and Miriam Zohar in a conjoint show, will present Swan Lake with the Israel Ballet as well as a major virtuosi show, a show of songs by Ehud Manor sung by the country's greatest singers and a choirs show with famous chorales from Italian operas. Such a season has never been before!

The acclaimed Canta Libre Chamber Ensemble will be in concert, performing music for flute, piano and strings on Sunday, November 13 @ 3:00 PM at Christ and St. Stephen's Church, 120 W. 69th St. in New York, NY.

This past Friday night the Kiryat Motzkin Theatre Hall opened its 9th season of the successful classical series 'Classical Excitement', led by music director Gil Shohat, which truly lived up to its distinguished reputation.

The Hong Kong City Hall Theater will host East of La Mancha: Songs inspired by 'Don Quixote' on 9(th) November 2016, a gala concert to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of the Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes.

 Mirror Visions Ensemble (MVE), currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, presents its unique program Flights of Fantasy at the Loreto Theater at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture on Friday, October 14 at 8:00 p.m. and in a collaborative performance with New York University students at NYU's Loewe Theater on Monday, October 31 at 7:30 p.m.

Russian pianist Alexander Ghindin makes his Chamber Music Society of Detroit series debut with a blockbuster recital program highlighted by Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 8:00 PM.

The string quartet is a particularly refined and structured musical ensemble.

Simon Ghraichy returns to Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall for one night only, Today, October 14 at 7:30PM. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the program, titled 'My Hispanic Heritage,' celebrates Latin American composers (Ernesto Lecuona, Arturo Marquez), Spanish composers (Isaac Albeniz, Manuel de Falla), and non-Spanish/non-Latino composers who drew inspiration from Hispanic culture (French composers Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel).  The presenter for 'My Hispanic Heritage' is New York Concert Artists.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK (July 25, 2016)—Conducted by Semyon Bychkov in May 2016, the 13th annual Vienna Philharmonic Summer Night Concert Schönbrunn will be released on CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, and digital platforms by Sony Classical on August 12 and broadcast on PBS's Great Performances on Today, September 30 at 9 p.m. (check local listings.). The Summer Night Concerts are presented free each year in the gardens of Vienna's Imperial Schönbrunn Palace, and Mr. Bychkov—conducting the event for the first time—led the Vienna Philharmonic in front of its largest Summer Night Concert audience ever (102,000 spectators). The performance reached an additional 585,000 people through TV and radio, having been broadcast by 83 stations on five continents.

The Australian World Orchestra (AWO) has announced its five-year anniversary celebrations in 2016, performing two stellar concerts co-presented by the Sydney Opera House today 28 and Thursday 29 September.

The Chicago Philharmonic's 2016-17 season, Love, begins with a concert exploring 'Legendary Lovers' as depicted in music. Couples including Romeo & Juliet, Ruslan & Ludmila, and Tristan & Isolde all feature. Emily Birsan and John Irvin, Ryan Opera Center alumni recently heard at the Lyric Opera, sing duets by Verdi, Bernstein, and Gounod, and the orchestra performs symphonic works by Ravel, Wagner, Glinka, and Diamond. The Belle Harmonie harp duo, featuring Krista Hagglund and Anna Hirons of the Midwest Young Artists Conservatory, will perform in the foyer before the concert.
