The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade Count, the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami and the Lowe Art Museum will co-present PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION, featuring the Frost Symphony Orchestra conducted by world-renowned Maestro Gerard Schwarz (@maestroschwarz). The immersive evening of music and art will take place on Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. at the Knight Concert Hall as part of Miami Art Week 2021.

The San Diego Symphony today announced its winter-spring 2022 concert season, offering 31 performances of classical and contemporary masterworks and chamber music from January 15 through May 28. Presented as “Hear Us Here,” the season will give the San Diego Symphony the opportunity to bring its music to a wider audience, with concerts performed at nine venues in the city and across the County, including the Symphony's newest venue, The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.

Park University International Center for  Music announced today that their 2021-2022 Season would continue on November 19th with an entire concert devoted to piano lovers. The concert will be held  at the 1900 Building in Mission Woods, Kansas (corner of State Line Road and Shawnee  Mission Parkway).

Just hours before its season-opener concert, the Orchestre Métropolitain (OM) has received a donation of an unprecedented generosity from Louise and Sophie Desmarais. Donating a total of $2.5 million over 10 years to support the vision of the Orchestre and its conductor, they have become Artistic Development Patrons of the OM.

FJK Dance announces a lecture demonstration on September 22, 2021, 6PM-8PM, at Ripley Grier Studios, 520 8th Avenue. New York NY 10018. The evening will feature an open studio rehearsal, a presentation of art work and choreography from Forbidden, and a talk back discussing the creative process of this piece and its background.

Battery Dance celebrates the 40th Anniversary of its free summer festival from August 12-20, 2021, in partnership with Battery Park City Authority. The 40th Annual Battery Dance Festival features 16 international dance films from August 12-14 at 7pm ET via YouTube. 40 in-person and livestreamed performances will be staged at Robert F. Wagner, Jr. Park, New York City, from August 15-20 at 7pm ET. In total, 32 premieres by 53 dance companies are offered to international audiences, promoting Battery Dance’s mission of connecting the world through dance.

The Verona Quartet has released its debut album, Diffusion, on Azica Records. Through the intimate voice of the string quartet, Diffusion explores a mosaic of folk cultures through the lens Janáček’s String Quartet No. 2 “Intimate Letters,” Szymanowski’s String Quartet No. 2 Op. 56, and Ravel’s String Quartet in F Major M. 35.
