Broadway In Chicago and Producers Steven Van Zandtand Maureen Van Zandt, Marc Brickman, and BASE ENTERTAINMENT, have announced that following a critically acclaimed, sold-out Broadway engagement, ONCE UPON A DREAM STARRING THE RASCALS will debut in Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph) from Nov. 5 - 10, 2013 for five performances only.
Producers Steven Van Zandt and Maureen Van Zandt, Marc Brickman, and BASE Entertainment have announced that following a critically acclaimed, sold-out Broadway engagement, Once Upon A Dream starring The Rascals will debut in Detroit at the Fox Theatre for oneperformance only on Friday, November 15 at 8 p.m. as part of the Fifth Third Bank Fox Theatre Series.
On Tuesday night, the red carpet was rolled out at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre as Mirvish Productions presented the opening of The Rascals: Once Upon a Dream. The show is produced and directed by Steven Van Zandt and features all four original band members. The show sold out on Broadway, and is being dubbed as a mix between a dance party and a jukebox musical in the style of 'Jersey Boys'.

On Tuesday, October 2nd at 9 am EDT, a limited number of tickets will go on sale at littlekidsrock.org/tickets for the Right to Rock Celebration - a charity benefit for Little Kids Rock that will feature performances of Steven Van Zandt's music by an epic lineup including Elvis Costello, Dion DiMucci, Tom Morello, Darlene Love, Southside Johnny, Kris Allen, Ruben Blades, Gary U.S. Bonds, Michael Des Barres, Michael Johns, Jesse Malin, Jake Clemons, NYC Hit Squad and other surprise guests expected to attend. Actress Maureen Van Zandt and E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg will co-chair the event, which is sponsored by the House of Marley and 1Love and will take place on Tuesday, October 16th, in New York City at the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom.
Before Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band finish the second U.S. leg of its world tour, many of its members will attend Little Kids Rock's 10th anniversary Right to Rock Celebration, sponsored by the House of Marley and 1Love. On October 16th in New York city Steven Van Zandt will be presented with the 'Big Man of The Year Award,' given annually to honor the legacy of the late, great Clarence Clemons. Van Zandt joins past honorees Lady Gaga and The Big Man himself. The event is being co-chaired by actress Maureen Van Zandt and E Street Band drummer Max Weinberg.
