She will be joined on stage by other musical guests American Idol Finalist Devin Velez, Colte Julian from Million Dollar Quartet, and Ryan Lanning from Bailiwick Chicago's The Wild Party. WGN's Dean Richards serves again as the emcee, which features a preshow reception at 6 pm, the performance at 7, and a post show champagne toast with Ms. McKechnie.

Music Theatre of Connecticut (MTC) School of Performing Arts will be presenting a series of Master Classes for young performers who are interested in learning from Broadway professionals. The first in the series focuses on Musical Theatre Audition Technique, and will feature Kevin Duda, from the original Broadway cast of the musical sensation 'The Book of Mormon' and currently appearing on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning 'Beautiful: The Carol King Musical.' NJTV, New Jersey's Public Television Network and New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) have collaborated on a second season of American Songbook at NJPAC. A who's who of Hollywood's music elite is coming out to play with Michael Feinstein at the Pasadena POPS' August 16th Hooray for Hollywood concert, presented in partnership with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) at the LA Arboretum. Four of ASCAP's top film composers and lyricists will perform their hit music with the POPS: Alan Bergman ('Windmills of Your Mind,' with Marilyn Bergman and co-written with Michel Legrand, 1968 Oscar winner from The Thomas Crown Affair), Michael Giacchino (music from Up, winner of the 2010 Oscar for best original score), Bruce Broughton (music from Silverado, 1986 Oscar nominee for best original score) and Paul Williams ('Evergreen,' co-written with Barbra Streisand, 1976 Oscar winner from A Star Is Born).

The Eisemann Center and the City of Richardson announced the 2014-2015 Season of Eisemann Center Presents (ECP) at the Annual Season Preview Party on Thursday, May 8, 2014. The season will include the popular Theatre Comedy Series with four productions and 23 performances; the Methodist Richardson Family Theatre Series with five productions and Jeffrey Siegel's Keyboard Conversations with a total of four concerts. In addition, there are eight MainStage Shows featuring a diverse mix of programming and artistic disciplines. Some of the more popular productions and artists from the past twelve years are returning to join the season - Mandy Patinkin, Steve Solomon, the Paul Taylor Dance Company and The Church Basement Ladies. Following a valiant 22-month struggle, Mark Flugge succumbed to major undiagnosed hearing issues and depression early Sunday morning, May 11. He expressed the hope that his music will live on, and heartfelt love to all of his many friends, family, students, and colleagues. A private service is being scheduled, with a public memorial concert in celebration of his life and music at a later date.
