December 1 is World AIDS Day, and a closer look at the numbers might make you realize it's not as far away from home as you might have thought. According to the Michigan Department of Community Health, there are 11,932 people living in Michigan with HIV or AIDS - and only three counties in the state have no reported cases.

The 50th Annual Drama Desk Awards Ceremony took place on Sunday, May 22. The big winners of the night were Doubt and The Light in the Piazza, each of whom received 5 awards. Outstanding Musical however, went to Spamalot.
