The Original Broadway Cast Recording of LITTLE WOMEN THE MUSICAL, starring Sutton Foster and Maureen McGovern was released on May 3, 2005. On May 7th, a special CD signing took place with the entire cast at the Virginia Theater.

LITTLE WOMEN is a musical telling of Louisa May Alcott's classic story featuring the music of Jason Howland and the words of Mindi Dickstein. The album is produced for records by Jason Howland, Kim Scharnberg and Joel Moss, and is being release on Ghostlight Records, a division of Sh-K-Boom Records, Inc., on May 3rd.

 Joining Sutton Foster (Jo) and Maureen McGovern (Marmee), LITTLE WOMEN THE MUSICAL features Janet Carroll (Aunt March), Danny Gurwin (Laurie), John Hickok (Professor Bhaer), Amy McAlexander (Amy), Megan McGinnis (Beth), Jenny Powers (Meg), Robert Stattel (Mr. Laurence) and Jim Weitzer (John Brooke).
