Through out the past week, BroadwayWorld has been brinigng you coverage of the 67th Annual Emmy Awards with a decidedly theatre-specific focus, and tonight will be no different. At some point during the tedious Red Carpet, I will begin live blogging everything from the Andy Samberg's hosting performance to the awards to the acceptance speeches, and everything inbetween. That being typed, I will be doing this in shorts and a t-shirt, so don't expect too much fashion commentary.

Martin Sherman's 'Bent,' a groundbreaking drama about the rare power of love in the most inhumane conditions, opened last night, July 26 at the Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum. Directed by Moises Kaufman, performances for 'Bent' will continue through August 23. (Previews started on July 15.) Check out a look inside opening night below!

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced this morning the 67th Annual Primetime Emmy® Award nominations, recognizing AMC with 24 nominations and SundanceTV with 4 nominations.

Austin Lone Star EMMY winner On Story, now offers programming year round. Austin Film Festival's On Story provides a look inside the creative process through the eyes of the entertainment industry's most prolific writers and directors.

The exhibition Matthew Weiner's Mad Men, which opened March 14 at Museum of the Moving Image, will be extended through the summer, closing on Sunday, September 6, it was announced by Carl Goodman, the Museum's Executive Director. 'A landmark TV series, Mad Men will continue to be watched, discussed, and studied for years to come. Given the extraordinary popularity of the exhibition, which has attracted a broader public beyond fans of the show, the Museum is very pleased to extend its run,' said Goodman.

'Mad Men” ended its acclaimed seven-season run Sunday night with its highest-rated episode ever among total viewers and adults 25-54.
