Beginning September 8, the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit MATILDA THE MUSICAL will welcome Natalie Venetia Belcon as Mrs. Phelps, Allison Case as Miss Honey, Rick Holmes as Mr. Wormwood, and Amy Spanger as Mrs. Wormwood. They join a principal cast that features Christopher Sieber as Miss Trunchbull, and the four girls sharing the title role: Mattea Conforti, Rileigh McDonald, Mimi Ryder, and Alexandra Vlachos.

Lesli Margherita -- Matilda the Musical's long-running 'Mrs. Wormwood' -- will play her final performance in the Broadway show today, Sept. 6.

The Matilda The Musical national tour kicked off the 2015/16 season at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre last night, where it plays through September 6, 2015. Tickets will go on-sale today, August 15 at 10:00 a.m. for the St. Louis premiere of TIME Magazine's #1 Show of the Year, MATILDA THE MUSICAL. Produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Dodgers, the first national tour of MATILDA THE MUSICAL will be coming to the Fabulous Fox Theatre October 21 - November 1.

Matthew Warchus, Artistic Director of the Old Vic, has announced that John Richardson is to step down as Producer at the end of the month. He will maintain active connections with the Old Vic in a freelance role, working particularly on developing musicals with Warchus alongside other projects.
