Ghost the Musical, adapted from the Academy Award winning film, began previews on March 15 and opens on Broadway on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. It's been a long road to the Broadway stage, and we highlight key parts of the musical's journey below!

The producers of Ghost The Musical announced today that Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy will reprise their starring roles as Sam and Molly, which they originated in London's hit West End production, when it premieres this Spring at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). They will be joined by Bryce Pinkham as Carl Bruner and newcomer Da'Vine Joy Randolph as Oda Mae Brown. Preview performances will begin on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Opening night is confirmed for Monday, April 23, 2012.

GHOST: THE MUSICAL began previews on Thursday, March 15th at The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Set in modern day New York City, Ghost The Musical is a timeless fantasy about the power of love. Walking back to their apartment one night, Sam and Molly are mugged, leaving Sam murdered on a dark street. Sam is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next and unable to leave Molly, who he learns is in grave danger. With the help of a phony storefront psychic, Oda Mae Brown, Sam tries to communicate with Molly in the hope of saving and protecting her. The Royal Shakespeare Company has announced that the Dodgers will be its producing partner for Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical on Broadway. Currently playing to sold-out houses in London's West End, the new musical is planning a New York opening in the Spring of 2013.
