Mercury Musical Developments (MMD) and Musical Theatre Network (MTN) have announced the details of the nationwide search for the UK's most exciting new musicals in development to present at BEAM2023, the UK's biggest showcase of new musical theatre.
The Lowry, Salford, has announced the world premiere of its commission of Pandora, Le Gateau Chocolat's operatic exploration of identity and trauma based on Pandora's myth.
BEAM2018 is a two day biennial industry showcase of new British musical theatre. New work by up to 40 British writers will be presented at the event which is co-produced by Musical Theatre Network and Mercury Musical Developments at Theatre Royal Stratford East, London on 1st 2nd March 2018.
The current revival of Little Shop of Horrors will vacat its current home, The Duke of Yorks, and set up shop at The New Ambassadors.
