Casting is announced today for Liberian Girl a new play by first time writer Diana Nneka Atuona. Directed by Matthew Dunster, the Alfred Fagon award-winning play follows one teenage girl's story of survival.

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has confirmed that J.M. Barrie's original stage play of Peter Pan will open its 2015 season (15 May - 14 June 2015). This will be followed by The Seagull (19 June - 11 July) and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers(16 July - 29 August). Following sell-out performances in 2011, Timothy Sheader's production of William Golding's Lord of the Flies will then return to the Open Air Theatre (3 - 12 September) to conclude the 2015 season, prior to a major UK tour.

This August Nuffield presents Matthew Le Tissier and Francis Benali in their acting debuts in its production The Saints, where the renowned ex-Saints players will feature as themselves in cameo roles in pre-recorded film segments. The Royal Court Theatre announces a new season of work today, Friday 27 June, including new plays from Molly Davies, Zinnie Harris, Rory Mullarkey, Tim Price and Jack Thorne; a debut play from first-time playwright Diana Nneka Atuona; a collaboration between scientist Chris Rapley, playwright and director Duncan Macmillan and director Katie Mitchell and a new production for young people and their families - Enda Walsh's new adaptation of Roald Dahl's The Twits.

Nuffield will premiere The Saints in August 2014, a newly commissioned play, written by Luke Barnes and directed by Matthew Dunster (Mametz, National Theatre Wales; The Frontline, The Lightning Child, The Globe; Love And Money, Young Vic and Royal Exchange), about the highs and lows of following Southampton Football Club, and in particular, the pivotal role of football within regional cities across the country. Taking place in Nuffield Playing Field, a specially built pop-up theatre which combines outdoor stadium with Jacobean venue, the production explores the unequivocally theatrical experience of attending a football match, from the sense of spectacle and occasion to the intimacy and power of crowd behaviour and the sense of belonging and community this creates.

Digital Theatre today announced the expansion of its Digital Theatre Collections with four further productions from Shakespeare's Globe.

Matthew Dunster directs Rodney Ackland's Before The Party at The Almeida Theatre, which opened on 28 March 2013 and runs until 11 May 2013. Based on a short story by Somerset Maugham, Before The Party has designs by Anna Fleischle with lighting by Philip Gladwell and sound by Ian Dickinson. Dunster's production of Before The Party will be the first in over 25 years.

English Touring Theatre and Liverpool Playhouse will complete a trilogy of Roger McGough adaptations of classic Moliere comedies with THE MISANTHROPE in spring 2013. The Misanthrope debuted at the Liverpool Playhouse in February 2013 before its national tour.
