In anticipation of their upcoming sophomore album Little Darkness, out September 1 on Tender Loving Empire, up and coming Portland, OR-based group The Domestics are premiering the video for the album track “Tunnels and Trains” via Baeble Music.

The Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) today announced the date, creative team and an exciting new venue for the 35th anniversary of the Dora Mavor Moore Awards which celebrate extraordinary Toronto talent in the performing arts. The award ceremony will take place on June 23 and, for the very first time, will be held at Harbourfront Centre. The new outdoor venue will offer additional seating for this consistently sold-out event under the stars at the WestJet Stage, a 1,300-seat outdoor concert venue covered by a transparent roof with open sides.

The ensemble cast, directed by Mark Fleischer, features Jessica Cavanagh (last appeared at WaterTower Theatre in August: Osage Country), Matt Moore (last appeared at WTT in The Lieutenant of Inishmore), Jim Johnson (last appeared at WTT in The Great American Trailer Park Musical), Lydia MacKay (last appeared at WTT in As You Like It) and B.J. Cleveland, who makes his WTT stage debut in this production.

Due to overwhelming audience demand, WaterTower Theatre's production of Grey Gardens has added an additional weekend of performances. Tickets for these performances, scheduled for October 28 - November 1, are currently on-sale in the box office.
