Irish Repertory Theatre has announced full casting for FINIAN'S RAINBOW.

Ocean State Theater Company (OSTC) opens its summer season with the 1955 Tony Award winning musical, DAMN YANKEES. The show may be sixty years old, but as long as the Yankees play ball and there are fans that despise them, it will have a place in many a heart.

Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC), which recently completed its fourth season in its comfortable, stadium-style theatre in Warwick, is proud to open their summer season on July 6 with the Tony Award-winning musical comedy, Damn Yankees.

BrightSide Theatre, Naperville's only professional theatre performing in the historic downtown district, presents the perfect finale to our 5th Anniversary Season with the outrageous musical comedy featuring the song that gave BrightSide Theatre its namesake and is lovingly ripped off from the motion picture 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'- Spamalot. Spamalot will perform at the Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall at North Central College, 31 S. Ellsworth Street in Naperville June 3-19, 2016. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Rolando Sanz and Strathmore, in association with Bruce Cohen, Robb Nanus and David Bloch will present the world premiere of I Am Anne Hutchinson/I Am Harvey Milk, a musical celebration of two American icons, for a two-night engagement on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Music Center at Strathmore (5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda, Maryland).

Christmas is tailor-made for nostalgia--all those ornaments passed down through the years, all those familiar songs and television specials--and it doesn't get more nostalgic than White Christmas, a show that calls up memories not only of the timeless Irving Berlin song and the 1954 film built around it but of old-fashioned musicals in general, down to the 'let's put on a show in the old barn' angle. The production now playing at the Fine Arts Center embraces that nostalgia from the first sing-along of the title standard, and the holiday crowd was quite content to be carried along with the sentiment.

Westchester Broadway Theatre is taking audiences back to the glory days of Hollywood's Golden Age with its upcoming production of Lynnette Barkley and Christopher McGovern's Backwards in High Heels: The Ginger Musical, running August 13-September 20. As the cast, under the leadership of director/choreographer Jeremy Benton, got into the serious business of rehearsals, photographer Jake Primmerman was on hand to commemorate the work that goes into bringing the world of the 1930s movie musical to life onstage at WBT.

On Monday, May 4th, 2015, guests gathered at the Hudson Theatre at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City for a special evening. The American Cancer Society presented A Spring Tribute to Marvin Hamlisch featuring the music of 'Sweet Smell of Success' performed by many of today's top Broadway talent. Scroll down for photos!

Broadway favorites, including three-time Tony nominee Marc Kudisch as JJ Hunsecker (Hand to God) and Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan as Sidney Falcone (Newsies), will perform staged concert selections from the musical Sweet Smell of Success tonight, May 4 to benefit the American Cancer Society. Titled A Spring Tribute to Marvin Hamlisch, the event will be at the Hudson Theatre (at the Millennium Broadway Hotel) in New York City.

Prospect Theater Company presents The Underclassman, an original musical that explores F. Scott Fitzgerald's coming of age as a writer on the eve of World War I, and his first romance with the elusive debutante Ginevra King.
