SONiC - Sounds of a New Century - a brand new festival of 21st century music by more than 100 composers age 40 and under, will take over New York from Friday, October 14 through Saturday, October 22, 2011.

On Friday, September 16, McCarter Theatre kicked off its 2011-2012 season with Ten Cents a Dance, a musical conceived and directed by Tony Award-winning director John Doyle, featuring the songbook of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart.

Singing OnStage Productions will present Side By Side By Sondheim, a fundraiser launching the company's inaugural season of shows. Artistic Director Richard Biever will direct a cast of three, including Sally Wilfert* (B'way: Assassins, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer) Kate Wetherhead* (Legally Blonde, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) with the third cast member to be determined.

York Theatre Company Oh, Coward! and The Mad Show, the next titles in its Summer 2011 Musicals in Mufti Series-the York's acclaimed series of musical theatre gems in staged concert performances.
