The Public Theater announced today that Emmy Award winner Mare Winningham and Dimitri Joseph Moise join the previously announced cast of the world premiere musical Joan of Arc: Into the Fire.
Musical Theatre Factory, under the direction of Artistic Director, Shakina Nayfack, has announced that it will present four developmental presentations of THE DISAPPEARING MAN, a new folk opera with book, music and lyrics by Jahn Sood, direction by West Hyler and musical direction by Max Mamon, January 19th at 2pm and 7pm and January 21st at 3pm and 8pm at the Robert Moss Theater, 440 Lafayette Street, 3rd floor.
IN A SEA OF FACES: A New Folk Opera by Jahn Sood will be presented at Cloud City, an alternative arts space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, 85 N. 1st St, running September 15-22, 2016. The piece is made up of folk songs and movement and is a celebration of oral tradition, family and life near the ocean.
