Broadway talents including Mallory Bechtel (Dear Evan Hansen), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), Isaac Powell (Once on This Island), and Kate Rockwell (Mean Girls) complete the lineup for the next installment of the acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series, honoring the English singer-songwriter Adele. Current cast members from Broadway shows including Come From Away, King Kong, and The Book of Mormon will sing completely new arrangements of the hits of the award winning singer, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations of her music.

After nearly 15 years, WICKED is still defying gravity. The North American tour of Stephen Schwartz' blockbuster musical WICKED will be whisking Toronto audiences to Oz this summer at Mirvish's Ed Mirvish Theatre. Lucky for us Torontonians, this touring cast is more than capable at navigating the thrilling, challenging, and...popular score.

If you don't know the "Mean Girls" meets "Harry Potter" story line, WICKED is a remixed version of the goings-on before the movie, "The Wizard of Oz" and the majority of the story takes place prior to Dorothy's arrival. The story is told as a flashback by Glinda as Ozians celebrate the death of the Wicked Witch of the West. Glinda then reveals that no only did they know each other in college, they actually friends.

No matter how many times you see Wicked, no matter how many actresses defy gravity to soar as Elphaba or how numerous the renditions of 'Popular' you may hear Galinda sing, make absolutely no mistake about it: Wicked is a musical theater masterpiece. Winnie Holzman's engaging book (based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, which was in turn inspired by the original L. Frank Baum story about the wonderful wizard of Oz) and Stephen Schwartz's memorable score ensure that for generations to come, audiences will continue to be dazzled and delighted, thrilled and moved by the story of two very different individuals who become lifelong friends, proving that no obstacles in life are insurmountable.

Watch out Memphis, Tennessee because something WICKED is coming your way! Starting March 7, 2018, Orpheum Theatre will be showing WICKED until the curtain closes on March 25, 2018.

Broadway In Chicago has announced that a WICKED day-of-show drawing for a limited number of seats will take place inside Block 37.

Okay, I'm a 'Wicked' junky. I've seen the show five times, including seeing it in its first week of the New York run.
