Broadcaster/journalist/philanthropist Arlene Herson will be honored at a Silent Auction on March 22nd.  The event, which will take place at Boca Raton's Gallery 22, will be co-sponsored by the gallery and YI Love Jewish.  The proceeds from the auction will benefit YI Love Jewish' mission to fight antisemitism through the arts.

On such a somber and momentous occasion as International Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27), Yiddishkayt Initiative founder and CEO Avi Hoffman feels its important for the organization to be part of the education of the community related to keeping the remembrance of The Holocaust and the lessons to be learned from it alive.

There will be a Special Reading of "The Believers" by Robert Carroll on Sunday, February 8th at the BAM Fisher Building in the Fishman Theater 321 Ashland Place Brooklyn, NY 11217 (between the Opera House and the Williamsburg Saving Bank Building).
