The Play That Goes Wrong, the hilarious Tony Award-winning hit Broadway comedy, will make its Boston debut at the Emerson Colonial Theatre, an Ambassador Theatre Group Venue, November 7 - 18, 2018 as part of the 2018-2019 Lexus Broadway In Boston Season. Broadway In Boston announced today that tickets for the upcoming Boston engagement will go on sale Sunday, September 9, 2018.

The producers of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical announced this morning Chris McCarrell will reprise the role of Percy Jackson in the upcoming national tour of the musical adaption of the New York Times best-selling novel written by Rick Riordan. 

THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG, the hilarious Tony Award-winning hit Broadway comedy, will make its Cincinnati debut at the Aronoff Center, November 27 - December 2 as a part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati 18/19 Season presented by TriHealth. Walton Arts Center will host technical rehearsals and three preview performances on Jan. 4-5, 2019 for the new national tour of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, a musical adaption of the New York Times best-selling novel written by Rick Riordan, before it embarks on its first national tour.

The Play That Goes Wrong, announced today that the Tony Award-winning production has extended its run past its previously announced closing date Sunday, August 26. The show is now on sale until Sunday, January 6, 2019. Tickets will be available starting Friday, July 13 at noon.

The Play That Goes Wrong celebrated its 500th performance on Broadway tonight, June 14th. Following tonight's performance, the cast went backstage for a celebration with a cake made by Dina Jawetz of Cakes By Dina.

On a recent episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, J.J. Abrams appeared as a guest. Colbert asked if he could bring someone, then proceeded to invite the entire Ed Sullivan Theater audience of about 400. The crowd cheered and Colbert assured them that after the show, they would all be heading over to see the Broadway play.
