Lifeline Theatre presents The Man Who Was Thursday, adapted by Lifeline Theatre ensemble member Bilal Dardai and directed by Jess Hutchinson. Dardai and Hutchinson return to this 1908 satire after having first mounted it at New Leaf Theatre, where Hutchinson was the Artistic Director, in 2009 (Non-Equity Jeff nomination: New Adaptation) to re-explore this absurdist tale of identity and intrigue for a new decade.

Akvavit Theatre is pleased to present A LITTLE NIGHT OF NORDIC MUSIC, a benefit concert featuring highlights from the musical Chess and other song selections, with special guest Gregory Treco, who currently stars as Aaron Burr in the Chicago cast of the smash hit musical Hamilton.

Ever since her father vanished under mysterious circumstances, Meg Murry's life has been spiraling out of control. But one dark and stormy night, Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which appear with a promise to help rescue him from the monstrous darkness that threatens the universe. Join Meg, her brother Charles Wallace, their pal Calvin, and a host of extraterrestrial friends and foes as they journey into the heart of a terrible evil in the hope of reuniting a fragmented family. A heartwarming adventure across the stars, in a newly-revised adaptation of the beloved 1963 favorite by Madeleine L'Engle, not seen on the Lifeline stage since 1999. The production runs two hours with one intermission. The novel is on sale in the lobby.
