Gather round we've got a story to tell! Skylight Music Theatre presents the final Studio Theatre show of the season, Sing Me a Story, running May 3 through May 19. Featuring Kay Stiefel and Jack Forbes Wilson, Milwaukee's favorite cabaret couple performs together in the Studio Theatre for the first time at the Broadway Theatre Center (158 N. Southern Rep Theatre continues its 26th Season Mainstage Series with the World Premiere of MOLD by John Biguenet at The Contemporary Arts Center directed by Mark Routhier starring Trey Burvant, Kerry Cahill, Randy Maggiore, and Carol Sutton. In MOLD, John Biguenet, Louisiana Writer of the Year 2012, completes his award-winning Rising Water Trilogy including RISING WATER and SHOTGUN about the flooding of New Orleans and its aftermath. Set the summer after the levee collapse MOLD depicts a young husband forced to choose between his wife and the city he loves. The production runs between tonight, March 20 and April 14.
Renaissance Theaterworks to Present Reading of CENSORED ON FINAL APPROACH, 4/26

Renaissance Theaterworks (RTW) is collaborating with the Milwaukee VA Womens Health Program to present a free play reading of CENSORED ON FINAL APPROACH by Phylis Ravel. Suzan Fete and Jennifer Rupp will be Co-Directing this reading that will feature women veterans, Milwaukee VA staff and friends. One day only: April 26, 2013, at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center, 5000 W. National Ave., Recreation Hall, room 3435. The readings are at 2 pm and 6:30 pm, and are free and open to the public. Talkbacks will follow the readings.

Kinky Boots creators Harvey Fierstein (book) and Cyndi Lauper (music & lyrics) will sit down with New York Times theater reporter Patrick Healy as part of a New York Times TimesTalks on Monday, March 18th at 6:30 PM E.T. at TheTimesCenter (242 West 41st Street). The box office for Kinky Boots, the hotly anticipated new musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), is officially open for business at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street)! Freestyle Releasing announced today that they have set March 1st, 2013 as the theatrical release date for GENIUS ON HOLD, the revealing documentary written and directed by Gregory Marquette ("Innocents"). The film was produced by Walter T. Shaw, and co-produced by Diana Ross-Shaw and is narrated by Academy-Award Nominee Frank Langella ("Frost/Nixon," "Robot & Frank").

Now, Disney Theatrical Productions has confirmed that Aladdin, a new musical based on the Academy Award winning animated film, will play its pre-Broadway engagement at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre(formerly the Canon) November 13, 2013 to January 12, 2014 and will open at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre in 2014. The show will feature music by Alan Menken; lyrics by the late Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin with a book by Beguelin. Casey Nicholaw will direct and choreograph.
