ESPN's 2012-13 BIG EAST Conference men's college basketball regular-season schedule will feature 129 conference games across ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU as well as the ESPN3 simulcasts of syndicated matchups on the BIG EAST Network. An extensive schedule of non-conference coverage is to be determined.

"Sex is in the Heel," a new single remix by Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper, composer of the new Broadway-bound musical Kinky Boots, has hit the Top Ten (#6) position on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Top 200 chart this week. The energetic love letter to fancy footwear, which shares the Top Ten this week with Madonna, Usher and the Scissor Sisters, is the first single from a Broadway show to top the dance charts in more than 25 years.

Kinky Boots, the highly anticipated new musical that brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), will begin preview performances on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, with an official opening night set for Thursday, April 4, 2013. Southport in Chicago. The scholars will discuss the thought-provoking themes addressed in the play, such as the existence of God and the meaning of life.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Kinky Boots, the highly anticipated new musical that brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), will begin preview performances on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, with an official opening night set for Thursday, April 4, 2013. After a national search process, Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO) has named Linda Edelstein as the organization's new executive director.

Variety reports that ELF is indeed headed back to Broadway this winter, and that the show will play the Al Hirschfeld Theater for 9 weeks, from November 9 to January 6 before KINKY BOOTS takes the theatre in the Spring.

Michael Riedel reports in today's The New York Post that 'It appears that Jujamcyn's got "Kinky Boots" and will put it in the Al Hirschfeld Theatre next spring following an out-of-town tryout in Chicago in the fall. Jujamcyn's co-producer will be Hal Luftig, who's on a roll with the hit revival of Evita.'

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig have announced the full cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Kinky Boots, the new musical that brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics). Directed and choreographed by Tony® Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, Kinky Boots will play the Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe Street, Chicago, IL) beginning October 2 through November 4, 2012, in advance of a Broadway opening.

Though hot and sunny outside, theaters across the country already are thinking towards the holidays. As previously announced, NETWorks Presentations will present a non-Equity tour of Elf The Musical, which will launch at the Providence Performing Arts Center from November 4 through November 10. Engagements will follow at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton from November 13 through November 18, Tampa's Straz Center for the Performing Arts from November 20 through November 25, and the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall from November 27 through December 2 in Fort Myers. The tour will end in St. Paul at the Ordway Theatre, playing from December 5 through December 30.
