Helen Marie Guditis, Founder and President of "The Theatre Museum" , died of cancer, in her sleep. She valiantly fought for 4 years but succumbed to the disease on December 3, 2012. She was with family members, who said that she sang broadway show tunes until her last breath. Stewart F. Lane, chairman of The Theatre Museum called Helen's dedication to theater inspiring and stated, 'Helen will be deeply missed by the theater community.'

The new musical Kinky Boots, from four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), will begin preview performances on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, with an official opening night set for Thursday, April 4, 2013. Knight, currently starring in TV Land's "The Exes," is perhaps best known to audiences as Jerry Seinfeld's arch nemesis "Newman" on the Emmy Award-winning hit comedy "Seinfeld." Knight's credits also include Jurassic Park, Toy Story 2, Space Jam and "3rd Rock from the Sun," among many others.

Theatre Ventures in association with Unique Features announced today that the hit musical ELF will star Tony® Award winner Beth Leavel (Emily), Tony® Award nominee Mark Jacoby (Walter), Valerie Wright (Deb), Adam Heller (Mr. Greenway) and Michael Mandell (Store Manager).
