The Old Globe presents a revival of Steve Martin's clever and crowd-pleasing comedy hit Picasso at the Lapin Agile.

The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre is thrilled to announce the 2017/2018 Season which includes the Premiere Mainstage Series, The Ellen Arnold Groff Studio Series in the Tell Studio Theatre, and the Eichmann Family Series. The season will follow an unprecedented season of record-breaking productions. Next season will continue to welcome returning and new audiences to distinctive high-caliber productions that continue the Fulton tradition of "Engaging Life Through Art."

First up in Encores! 2017 season is Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, the Tony Award-winning musical based on Mark Twain's classic American novel.

'Empowering Grace and Love': an uplifting and heartfelt collection of spiritual poetry. 'Empowering Grace and Love' is the creation of published author, Mark Twain Cutshaw, a native of eastern Tennessee, and active member of his church, where he has attended since childhood and served as an elder for several years. God has led Mark in many different directions, from twenty-plus years studying martial arts to becoming a truck driver.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for its revival of Steve Martin's clever and crowd-pleasing comedy hit Picasso at the Lapin Agile.

Matrix Theatre Company continues its 2016 - 2017 Mainstage Season with the professional world premiere of Abbey Fenbert's satirical comedy, Intentions, opening February 3 and running through February 26. The production runs Todays and Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 3PM. All performances are presented at Matrix Theatre Company, located at 2730 Bagley Avenue in the heart of Mexicantown. The Alley Theatre's Alley All New Festival, February 2 - February 12, features seven playwrights and more than 30 actors from the Alley and around the country presenting new work through a series of readings and workshop performances, and a premiere production.

Actor Will Holbrook says he knew what he wanted to do with his life from a very early age. As a boy of 5, he used to put on shows for his parents, and developed a love for performing that continues to drive him today at age 19.

Two-time Tony Award-winning Goodspeed Musicals has assembled six exciting teams - three led by prominent women directors - to helm the diverse productions planned this season: a tap-happy musical comedy, a beloved classic, a completely reinvented musical from some of the finest creative minds in musical theatre, two bold new musicals, and a holiday show for all ages.

Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 208th season with Neil Simon's classic comedy, LAUGHTER ON THE 23RD FLOOR. Directed by Frank Ferrante, the play begins previews on January 17th, opens on January 25th and runs through March 5th on the Walnut's Mainstage. This production is part of a double feature of Simon's work at the Walnut, as Last of the Red Hot Lovers will begin performances the in the Independence Studio on 3 on January 10th.

The United States' rich cultural landscape will expand this year with the announcement of the American Writers Museum's (AWM's) Grand Opening on Tuesday, May 16th, 2017, at 180 North Michigan Avenue in the heart of downtown Chicago. 

The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre is excited to continue its record breaking season with Irving Berlin's classic musical comedy, Annie Get Your Gun.   Prepare to be dazzled as Buffalo Bill Cody's Wild West Show returns to the Fulton Theatre after 100 years and the theatre is transformed into a big top, surrounding the audience with all the action. 

Due to demand, Steve Martin and Martin Short have added two new 2017 dates of their hilarious show "An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Lives featuring the Steep Canyon Rangers and Jeff Babko" at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Tickets for the two new shows scheduled Friday, Aug. 25 and Sunday, Oct. 29 will go on-sale Friday, Jan. 27 at noon PT. The performances are presented jointly by AEG Live and Caesars Entertainment.

Shipwrecked has a lengthy moniker and excellent actors

Fast becoming the North Hollywood Arts District's premiere classical theatre company, the Archway Theatre is known as an 'outside of the box' black box theatre with a resident company of actors who embrace, and indeed often tackle with ferocity the texts of classical works.

Tony Award nominee Daniel Jenkins (Oslo, Kid Victory, Big River, Mary Poppins) and Drama Desk nominee Melissa van der Schyff (Big River, Bonnie & Clyde) are teaming up to perform at Le Poisson Rouge (LPR) in a creatively refreshing concert, 'BORROWED CASH: BUSTED! The Reunion Tour' on Today, January 21 and Sunday, January 22 at 8:00 PM.
