Paper Mill Playhouse has announced that single tickets will go on sale to the public for its highly anticipated season on Wednesday, July 30th at 10:00am. Paper Mill Playhouse has announced open auditions for the award-winning Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir. The Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir is a tuition-free, audition based, performance show choir that stems from Paper Mill Playhouse's award-winning Arts Education and Outreach programs. The choir consists of 40 to 50 singer/dancers between the ages of 16 and 22. Auditions for this special ensemble will take place at Paper Mill Playhouse, 22 Brookside Drive in Millburn, NJ on the evenings of Sunday, August 24th; Monday, August 25th and Wednesday, August 27th by appointment only. The 2014 Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Awards ceremony took place at Paper Mill Playhouse on Tuesday, June 3rd at 7:30pm with an audience of over 1,200. Princeton Day School came out on top, winning Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical for their production of Urinetown. A total of 29 awards were presented along with five scholarships and other cash prizes.

They comprise notable industry professionals representing a wide spectrum of interests and perspectives in the theatrical community. The 2014 Advisory Committee members are Polly Carl (Director and Editor of HowlRound: A Center for the Theater Commons at Emerson College), Kristoffer Diaz (playwright and educator; plays include The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, Welcome to Arroyo's, The Upstairs Concierge), Seth Glewen (Co-Head of The Gersh Agency Theater Department), Amanda Green (Tony-nominated lyricist/composer), Mark S. Hoebee (Producing Artistic Director of the Paper Mill Playhouse), David Roth (Head of Theatre Dept. at Staples High School in Westport, CT), and Lou Ursone (Executive Director of Curtain Call Theatre).

Ted Sperling (Striking 12, See What I Wanna See) will direct with musical staging by Andrew Palermo. Vadim Feichtner serves as Music Director. The Other Josh Cohen will feature Steve Rosen, David Rossmer, Hannah Elless, Vadim Feichtner, Cathryn Salamone, Ken Triwush and Kate Wetherhead. The Other Josh Cohen will play the Millburn, New Jersey theater through March 16. The show officially opened last night, Sunday, February 23, 2014, at 7:00pm. From December 11, 2013 through January 22, 2014, JerseyArts.com invited the public to vote for their favorite nonprofit arts groups in its sixth annual People's Choice Awards. Paper Mill Playhouse was awarded, 'Favorite Theater at See a Musical' and 'Favorite Place to Take a Kids Arts Class' earlier today. The categories ranged from theater and performing arts center, to museum and gallery, to symphony and dance company (along with many more -- there were 14 in all). Many organizations rallied their audiences to vote and in total a record number of over 12,000 people cast their ballot in this year's awards. The JerseyArts.com People's Choice Awards take place annually to honor the work of New Jersey's vital, vibrant and diverse arts organizations. Eight arts districts and 71 organizations were nominated this year-the largest amount of nominees the Awards has received since its creation in 2008-with 14 first-time nominees.
