Brand new acts announced today include the sensational New Orleans songstress ACANTHA LANG, quirky juggler OLIVIA PORTER, acrobat DAVID GIRARD and his mesmerizing new 'CirQle' apparatus, hula-hooping marvel SATYA BELLA, mind-boggling trapeze artist JARRED DEWEY, and the comedy couple DAREDEVIL CHICKENS.

Following a sell-out year on London's West End, three successful UK tours and a season in Mumbai, the charmingly incompetent English gentleman Bertie Wooster and his unflappable valet Jeeves are packing their bags for a trip to Sydney.  The iconic double act will be appearing in Perfect Nonsense for a strictly limited season in the Drama Theatre, Sydney Opera House from Today 23 to Sunday 28 August.

Featuring world-class performers from across the globe, get ready to be enticed once more by the truly unique and irresistible world of LA SOIREE, in a Spiegeltent in Leicester Square. The jaw-dropping, Olivier Award-winning cabaret sensation returns to London for its seventh season in the capital this Christmas, from 11 November 2016 until 8 January 2017.  

Director Sean Foley, who has recently enjoyed sell-out success adapting and directing The Painkiller in the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company season of Plays at the Garrick will, starting this autumn, under producer Mark Goucher, direct two new productions in the West End.

Portland's Good Theater is closing, what has been a highly adventurous and challenging fourteenth season, with a triumphant production of Act One, James Lapine's play based on the autobiography of Moss Hart. This nostalgic, subtly comic, and warmly touching work tells the story of a young Hart, learning to navigate the complex currents of writing a Broadway show in the 1930s. Told by two narrators, Lapine's play brings to life not only the Hart-George S. Kaufmann partnership, but a host of other colorful historical characters who helped to shape this golden age of the stage.

Good Theater the professional theater company in residence at the St. Lawrence Arts Center, 76 Congress Street, Portland will close its 14th season with the regional theater premiere of ACT ONE by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart. Good Theater is the first company to do ACT ONE since its Broadway debut in 2014. The production opens April 6 and runs through May 1. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Laurel Casillo made her Broadway debut in Act One in 2014. Since then she has starred in two Good Theater productions:  The Rainmaker as Lizzie in the fall of 2014, and as Marina Oswald in the world premiere of Mama's Boy this past fall in 2015.

The mystery thriller MURDER AMONG FRIENDS by Bob Barry makes its debut at Town Players' Little Theatre on Friday, April 15.

After a spectacular winter season in London, La Soiree will be waving goodbye to its sumptuous Spiegeltent at the Southbank Centre on 17 January 2016. Joining the troupe for their final weeks in the capital is cabaret superstar Camille O'Sullivan, who made her long-awaited return to La Soiree on 21 December.
