This September, Broadway welcomes the world premiere of three one-act comedies, together entitled RELATIVELY SPEAKING, about mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, parents and children, written by four-time Oscar winner Ethan Coen (True Grit, Fargo), two-time Oscar nominee Elaine May (Heaven Can Wait, The Birdcage) and Woody Allen (Midnight in Paris). Successful film, television and theatre producer Scott Rudin is set to add another project to HBO, reports Variety. 'The Corrections,' based on the bestselling novel of the same name, is under development with Rudin and filmmaker Noah Baumbach; author Jonathan Franzen is also attached to produce and adapt his novel for the series.

Vassar & New York Stage and Film announce the award-winning casts of its three Martel Musicals: The Nightingale by Steven Sater & Duncan Sheik, directed by Moisés Kaufman (7/8-10); February House by Gabriel Kahane & Seth Bockley, directed by Davis McCallum (7/14-16); and Piece of My Heart by Bert Berns, Daniel Goldfarb, Brett & Cassandra Berns, directed by Leigh Silverman (7/29-31). Artistic Director Jenny Gersten announced today additional casting for the Main Stage productions for the 2011 Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF), the company's 57th season and the first under Ms. Gersten's leadership.

The result of a unique collaboration between New York Stage and Film and Vassar College, the program consists of an eight-week residency on the Vassar campus (124 Raymond Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY) during which more than 200 professional artists and some 40 apprentices live and work together to create new theater works. The 2011 Main Stage season kicks off with Patricia Wettig's F2M (June 29 - July 10).
