Mark Danni, founding artistic director of TheatreZone, recently was honored with the 2018 Baldwin-Wallace University Conservatory of Music Alumni Achievement Award.

TheatreZone, a professional Equity theatre in Naples, FL, updated its website this summer and launched it at a new web address. The new site at www.theatre.zone has information about the organization's Broadway musicals, international concert acts, AllStars of TheatreZone signature fundraiser, and new Broadway & Happy Hour cabaret series.

TheatreZone launches its new morning cabaret series, Coffee, Tea & Broadway on Jan. 17, with additional cabarets on Feb. 14, March 14 and May 2. Each cabaret features five professional actors from the current stage show singing their favorite Broadway show tunes and other standards.

TheatreZone announces two concerts and a cabaret series as part of its 2017-18 season in addition to the five shows previously announced. TheatreZone, a professional Equity theatre, is located at 13275 Livingston Road, on the Community School of Naples campus. TheatreZone will begin offering behind-the-scenes tours prior to the first Saturday matinee of each show next season. The 90-minute small group tours led by Artistic Director Mark Danni and Managing Director Karen Molnar Danni will include views of the dressing rooms, costume storage areas and behind the stage, as well as a brief presentation about the history of TheatreZone and the opportunity to watch actors preparing on stage with mic checks and vocal warmups for the afternoon's performance. A ticket to that day's show is not required. The ability to climb stairs is required, as elevator access is not available for all areas.

TheatreZone announces that, to meet increasing demand, it has added a second Saturday matinee to its 2017-18 shows schedule. These performances will take place on the first Saturday of each show's run, increasing total performances of a show from 11 to 12.

TheatreZone closed their sold-out run of "George M!" with a surprise audience guest who's no stranger to George M. Cohan's trademark songs and signature performance style. George M. Cohan III, George M.
