Larry Alexander to Bring MY BROADWAY to TheatreZone This February

Larry Alexander, Marius in Les Miserables on Broadway and the opening act for one of Liza Minnelli's world tours, brings his new show "My Broadway" to TheatreZone for one performance only at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

Alexander will perform some of Broadway's most beloved songs from Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, George Gershwin and other contemporary composers. Alexander will present standards such as "I Got Rhythm," "Tonight," and "If I Loved You." He will be accompanied by his three-piece band comprised of pianist and music director Michael Raabe, Joe Choomack on bass, and TheatreZone Artistic Director Mark Danni on drums.

Throughout the night, he will share stories about his life and personal connection to the music. Alexander has appeared in 18 TheatreZone productions during the past 10 years, including playing Peter Allen last season in The Boy From Oz. He will portray Franz Joseph II in Amadeus Feb. 9 through 19 and Legs Diamond in Legs Diamond in April and May. Alexander performed The Wizard of Oz at Lincoln Center, toured Europe in My Fair Lady with Maximilian Schell, and has performed in dozens of regional Theater Productions throughout his career.

Tickets are $50 to $55, with a limited number of $100 VIP tickets available that include aisle seating and a pre-show reception with wine and cheese.
