TheatreZone Launches New Cabaret Series 'Coffee, Tea & Broadway'

TheatreZone launches its new morning cabaret series, "Coffee, Tea & Broadway" on Jan. 17, with additional cabarets on Feb. 14, March 14 and May 2. Each cabaret features five professional actors from the current stage show singing their favorite Broadway show tunes and other standards. At the Jan. 17 show, actors from Me and My Girl will sing "Where Is Love" from Oliver; "The Man I Love" by Gershwin; "Maria" from West Side Story; "Arthur in the Afternoon" by Kander and Ebb; and "Last One Picked" from Whoop Dee Do," among other selections. TheatreZone Founding Artistic Director Mark Danni will emcee the cabaret, and the cast will be accompanied by Music Director Charles Fornara on the piano.

The cabarets will be held in the Moorings Park auditorium, 120 Moorings Park Drive in Naples, on Goodlette-Frank Road just south of Pine Ridge. Continental breakfast refreshments will be served from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m., the cabaret will run 11 a.m. to noon, and guests are invited to stay for a meet-and-greet with the actors from noon to 12:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 and may be purchased at theatrezone-florida.com or by calling the TheatreZone Box Office at 239-424-9500.
