WICKED, the West End musical phenomenon that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, has been named 'Best West End Show' by theatregoers for a third time at the WhatsOnStage Awards, tied with Les Miserables. The 17th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards were presented tonight (Sunday 19 February 2017) and marked the long-running hit musical's 10th WhatsOnStage Award win(which include 'Best New Musical' in 2007 and 'Best West End Show' in both 2010 and 2011).

WICKED, the classic West End musical that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, welcomed its 8 millionth theatregoer to London's Apollo Victoria Theatre on Thursday 9 February 2017. Musical theatre actor Oliver Savile performed in tours of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cats and Mamma Mia!, before joining the West End cast of Wicked in 2015. He's currently playing Fiyero as part of the 10th anniversary cast, which features Rachel Tucker, Suzie Mathers, Anita Dobson and Mark Curry.

WICKED, the West End musical phenomenon that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, was delighted to welcome Beau Dermott and her family to the Apollo Victoria Theatre last night (Friday 15 April), where she met the cast after the show. 12 year old Beau's rendition of Wicked's hit song 'Defying Gravity' wowed the judges on ITV's Britain's Got Talent, winning her the 'Golden Buzzer' and immediately securing herself a place in the live semi-finals.

West End musical phenomenon WICKED, which tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, has released the first pictures of Mark Curry as The Wizard. Actor and presenter Curry took over the role on March 25, alongside Emma Hatton (Elphaba), Savannah Stevenson (Glinda), Oliver Savile (Fiyero), Liza Sadovy (Madame Morrible), Sean Kearns (Doctor Dillamond), Daniel Hope (Boq) and Katie Rowley Jones (Nessarose).

Tom McGowan will play his final performance as The Wizard on 12 March 2016. From 14-24 March 2016, the role will be played by Sean Kearns.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Agatha Christie Theatre Company, And Then There Were None returns to the stage to follow in the footsteps of the company's hugely successful Witness for the Prosecution and Black Coffee. The production also marks the 125th anniversary of Agatha Christie's birth. The cast, which includes Paul Nicholas and Ben Nealon, both of whom have tread the Wyvern boards before, are making their way to Swindon next week.
