MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET Returns to Geva

Last season's hit musical, Million Dollar Quartet, is back by popular demand for a strictly limited run in the Elaine P. Wilson Stage, from June 14 to July 8. With book by Floyd Mutrux and Colin Escott, based on an original concept by Floyd Mutrux and inspired by the music of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins, Million Dollar Quartet is directed by Tony Award Nominee Hunter Foster.

NNPN Announces Five Rolling World Premieres Opening Within The Month!

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces five NNPN Rolling World Premieres (RWP): Ready Steady Yeti Go by David Jacobi, Ripe Frenzy by Jennifer Barclay, Apples in Winter by Jennifer Fawcett, The Mermaid Hour by David Valdes Greenwood, and Heartland by Gabriel Jason Dean. The five plays will receive a total of 17 NNPN RWP productions, with each play seeing at least three distinct productions in a 12-month period.

Geva Presents The World Premiere Of HEARTLAND By Gabriel Jason Dean

Geva Theatre Center's 2017-2018 Fielding Studio Series concludes with the world premiere of Heartland by Gabriel Jason Dean. This production features Artistic Director Mark Cuddy in his return to the stage and is directed by Pirronne Yousefzadeh. The production begins performances on March 15 and runs in the Fielding Stage through April 1.

Geva Hosts A Special Exhibit, Post Show Conversations And The Stage Door Project To Coincide With THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK

To coincide with Geva Theatre Center's production of The Diary of Anne Frank, by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman, the theatre is hosting a special exhibit and a series of post-show conversations. These events allow Geva's audiences to further understand the characters and the social context of this play. In addition, Geva has partnered with an area high school for The Stage Door Project: The Diary of Anne Frank.

Geva's Fielding Studio Series Continues with ERMA BOMBECK: AT WIT'S END

Geva Theatre Center's 2017-2018 Fielding Studio Series continues with Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End by Allison Engel and Margaret Engel. This production stars Pam Sherman and is directed by Mark Cuddy. The production begins performances on January 25 and runs in the Fielding Stage through February 18.

The girls with big skirts, big voices and big dreams are back with another musical trip down memory lane! Following last year's production of The Marvelous Wonderettes, Geva Theatre Center presents The Marvelous Wonderettes: Caps and Gowns. Written and created by Roger Bean with vocal and musical arrangements by Michael Borth, The Marvelous Wonderettes: Caps and Gowns is directed by Melissa Rain Anderson with musical direction by Don Kot and will be performed in the Fielding Stage from December 7 to December 24.

'THE AGITATORS' Is Best-Selling World Premiere in Geva History

Geva Theatre Center's production of The Agitators: The Story of Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass, written by Mat Smart and directed by Logan Vaughn, was the best-selling world premiere and one of the best-selling dramas overall in the theatre's 45-year history. Over 15,000 people attended the production, crafted in Rochester, for Rochester over a four-week period with 32 public performances.
