Disney Theatrical Productions and Proctors has announced that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney's The Lion King will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 30.

The American Theatre Guild is thrilled to present the Toledo engagement of Disney’s The Lion King as a part of the 22–23 BROADWAY IN TOLEDO SERIES. Tulsa's most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Tulsa PAC stage on Thursday, June 1st for a limited engagement of three weeks through Saturday, June 17th.

Disney Theatrical Productions and Overture Center for the Arts announced that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of Disney's The Lion King will go on sale to the public on Friday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. Madison's most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Overture Hall stage on Thursday, May 11 for a limited engagement of three weeks through Sunday, May 28.

The Salt Lake City premiere of Disney’s The Lion King opened on Friday, September 30 at 7:30pm at the Eccles Theater for a limited engagement of 4 weeks through Sunday, October 23.  In Salt Lake City, The Lion King will play Tuesdays through Thursdays at 7:30pm, Thursday, Sept. 29 and Thursday, Oct. 20 at 2pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2:00pm and 8:00pm and Sundays at 1:00pm and 6:30pm.  

The complete cast has been announced for the modern musical adaptation of The Song of Bernadette developmental workshop from Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominated Composer, Frank Wildhorn, CMA winner and Grammy nominated lyricist, Robin Lerner and award winning playwright, Rinne B Groff.  

The North American tour of Disney’s The Lion King will welcome Peter Hargrave, Nick LaMedica and Khalifa White as Scar, Zazu and Nala, respectively. The new cast members will begin performances in Salt Lake City at The Eccles Theater, where the award-winning musical will play a four-week return engagement from Thursday, September 29 through Sunday, October 23, 2022.  LaMedica and White begin performances on Thursday, September 29, while Hargrave debuts on Thursday, October 13.

The award-winning musical broke two records at the venue during the week ending March 6, 2022: highest-grossing week with a gross of $1,958,506 and the highest one-week attendance, with 23,040 guests seeing the show.
