The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills announced today the latest selections for its PaleyLive Spring 2018 season: Creating Great Characters: Dick Wolf & Mariska Hargitay in Conversation will be held on June 4, 2018, and An Evening with Dear White People will take place on June 5, 2018.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has been renewed by NBC for season 20.

Documentary 'I Am Evidence,' Revealing the Shocking Number of Untested Rape Kits in America and Showing How Testing Them Can Lead to Solving Crimes, Debuts April 16 on HBO

Despite the power of DNA to solve crimes, hundreds of thousands of rape kits, containing crucial DNA evidence, are currently languishing untested in police-evidence storage rooms across the country. Behind each one of these kits is a sexual-assault survivor waiting for justice to be served, and a perpetrator potentially evading prosecution.

In a case of life imitating art, Younger star Peter Hermann – who plays book publisher Charles Brooks on the hit TV Land show –  celebrated the launch of his first children's book IF THE S IN MOOSE COMES LOOSE this past Saturday at Books of Wonder in NYC. The book was released through HarperCollins on March 13.

The New Black Fest and The Lark, two theater organizations dedicated to celebrating and advocating for stories that explore the intersection of art and social justice, are proud to announce the fifth annual The New Black Fest at The Lark. This week-long event is aimed at showcasing diverse and provocative work in a festival of Black theater artists from throughout the Diaspora, and will feature talkbacks, a panel event, and staged readings of four plays-in-progress.
