Actor and comedian Candice Guardino brings her hit one-woman show 'Italian Bred' to the Morris Museum's Bickford Theatre for two performances on August 5 and August 6.

Candice Guardino will visit New Jersey this summer performing at Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park followed by Morris Museum's Bickford Theatre in August.

Actor and comedian Candice Guardino brings her hit one-woman show "Italian Bred" to the Morris Museum's Bickford Theatre for two performances on August 5 and August 6. The show which had a successful and critically acclaimed Off-Broadway run in 2013 has been playing to packed houses across the country for the past couple of years.

Candice Guardino will visit New Jersey with ITALIAN BRED this summer after successful shows in NYC, LA and Chicago, where she received rave reviews and played to sold-out crowds.

Candice Guardino is being called someone who "Stuns!" and is "Redefining Solo Performances" by The Chicago Stage, so it only seems fitting that the world renowned Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, NJ would present Italian Bred. It's based on true life events and told through the eyes of a little girl growing up Italian on Staten Island. Candice slips in and out of multiple family characters while sharing the stage with virtual cameos of Emmy winner Leslie Jordan ("Will and Grace"), Mario Cantone ("Sex & the City"), Steve Schirripa ("The Sopranos"), and Vic DiBitetto ("Mall Cop 2.") 

Abingdon Theatre Company continues its Ghostlight Reading Series with readings of THE SUBJECT by Chisa Hutchinson and directed by Jade King Carroll on Monday, June 5th at 7pm and CARLO AT THE WEDDING by Bryna Turner and directed by Jenna Worsham on Monday, June 12th at 7pm.

 The New Group presents the world premiere production of Hamish Linklater's The Whirligig, with Noah Bean, Norbert Leo Butz, Jon DeVries, Alex Hurt, Zosia Mamet, Jonny Orsini, Grace Van Patten and Dolly Wells.
