GAYFEST NYC, Inc., (Bruce Robert Harris and Jack W. Batman,Producers), the country's premier producer of new LGBT-themed plays, continues its FourthAnnual Festival, a five-week event (May 6 - June 6, 2010) filled with new theatre worksspotlighting gay issues, with the world premiere of the new play Mother Tongue written by F. J. Hartland with direction by Margarett Perry.

Official production photos have been released today for the upcoming 'Sex and the City 2.' Warner Bros. and New Line will release the the film in theaters on May 27, 2010. The big screen sequel reteams director-writer Michael Patrick King with his four leading ladies--Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. John Melfi will return to produce with King and Parker.

Yesterday, May 11th film producer Ted Kurdyla took over the off-Broadway theatre 45 Bleecker Street to present a reading of Vincent Gogliormella and Charles Messina's screenplay ‘TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE A BROOKLYN CHRISTMAS. The event was geared towards the many members of the industry that have expressed interest in the very buzzed about comedy. Both film and Broadway investors were in attendance. BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the event.

THAT Theatre Co. presents PHYSICAL, written by Buddy Thomas. Buddy is the author of last summer's hit play DEVIL BOYS FROM BEYOND, which was a part of the 2009 NY International Fringe Festival.

Jonathan Chapman and Kevin Stefan and directed by Sidney J. Burgoyne.

The awards ceremony and show, produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts, was hosted by Sharon McNight. Tracy Stark musical directed. BroadwayWorld celebrated backstage with the evening's winners and participants.
