"Celebrity Autobiography" has been playing to sold-out houses and rave reviews Off Broadway in New York for the past 2 years. The New York Post calls "Celebrity Autobiography" "the funniest show in town, hands down," while Time Magazine raves that it is "the funniest docu-theater stunt of the year!" Rolling Stone describes the show as "a cool night out," while The New Yorker says it is "inspired." The New York Times chose the show as a Critic's Pick and raves that it is "hilariously told! Big yuks entertainment," and Entertainment Weekly calls it "one of NYC's most buzzed-about shows."

The show features a line-up of revolving comedians who perform and interpret the unintentionally hilarious actual words and stories written by celebrities. Among the performers scheduled to appear in Chicago are Scott Adsit ("30 Rock"), Mario Cantone ("Sex and the City"), Tim Kazurinsky ("Police Academy," "Saturday Night Live"), Laura Kightlinger ("Will and Grace," "Saturday Night Live"), Harold Ramis ("Ghostbusters," SCTV), plus show creators Eugene Pack and Dayle Reyfel. Additional special guest performers will be announced at a later date. Please note, Harold Ramis performs for the Saturday show only.

Past autobiographies read have included the works of Tiger Woods, Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Ozzy Osbourne, Ivana Trump, VAnna White, Mr. T, Star Jones, Kenny Loggins, Tommy Lee, Sylvester Stallone, ‘N Sync, Zsa Zsa Gabor, David Cassidy, Neil Sedaka, Suzanne Somers, Madonna, Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson, ElizaBeth Taylor, Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds.

"Celebrity Autobiography" was created by Emmy-nominated writer and performer Eugene Pack. "I would listen to a lot of books-on-tape, particularly autobiographies, and was astounded at what people would write about...but people actually wrote these words. I thought the material would be extremely entertaining," says Pack. "Given Chicago's history of producing some of the best and brightest in A-list comedians, I thought it would be fun to bring some of them back to town for what are sure to be laugh-out-loud evenings at the Royal George."
