Photo Coverage: Meet the Cast and Creative Team of Primary Stages' RX

Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director) continues its 27th season with the world premiere of the new play, Rx, written by Kate Fodor. Directed by Ethan McSweeny (Gore Vidal's The Best Man, Sabina in 2005 at Primary Stages) the cast features Michael Bakkensen (Noises Off, Festen), Marylouise Burke (Fuddy Meers, Into The Woods, Is He Dead?), Marin Hinkle ("Two and a Half Men", Electra), Stephen Kunken (Rock 'n' Roll, Frost/Nixon), Paul Niebanck (In the Next Room…, Shockheaded Peter), and Elizabeth Rich (Cherry Orchard, A Tale of Two Cities). Haley Joel Osment, Stephen Rowe to Lead Philadelphia Theatre Company's RED

Philadelphia Theatre Company opens its 2011-2012 season with the Philadelphia premiere of John Logan's Tony Award-winning drama Red October 14-November 13 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (Broad and Lombard Streets). Directed by Anders Cato, the two-person cast features Broadway veteran Stephen Rowe and Oscar nominee Haley Joel Osment.

In Annie Baker's engrossing CIRCLE MIRROR TRANSFORMATION--the recent Obie Award Winner for Best New American Play--audiences are provided a glimpse into the world of the actor's studio, a bare space that comes alive with theater games, improvisation and emotional catharsis from its sometimes perplexed participants. One of last season's celebrated Off-Broadway hits, the play is remounted at South Coast Repertory for its West Coast Premiere engagement through January 30. Sam Gold, the play's original director returns to direct this new production in Orange County which features a terrific cast.

In 1961, Michael Rockefeller, 23 years old, disappeared among the Asmat People of Papua, New Guinea. He was never heard from again. This is the story of what might have happened, told by the Asmat people. The Man Who Ate Michael Rockefeller will play a four-week limited engagement at the West End Theatre, The Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew, 263 West 86th Street @ West End Avenue. All tickets are $18. Performances begin Friday, September 10 and continue through Sunday, October 3. Opening Night is Sunday, September 12 at 7 pm. Please note the following performance schedule:
